FAQ's

What platforms do you support?

We specialize in Microsoft solution technologies. From desktop operating systems and Office suites to back end solutions such as Windows server, Exchange, Small Business Server, etc. We also work with 3rd party vendors and those requested by clients when needed to successfully complete a project or solution for our clients.

Do you provide custom programming?

We do not offer customized application programming in-house but will work with vendors of your liking to ensure project goals and or support initiatives are met. We do offer various scripting technologies and solutions aimed primarily at the management and administration of desktops and the user environment.

Do you build websites?

No. We will gladly assist in the procurement of a viable solution provider and work with them to ensure the client’s initiatives are met.

What are regular hours?

In the Business Systems Support/Integration industry, there is no such thing. Many of our clients must be operational during normal 8-5 business hours so we often perform most of our work during off-hours. Other customers prefer issues or project be done during business hours. Whatever the case may be for your site, we will accommodate your schedule and needs. Our office staff does get the privilege of standard 8-5 hours.

Do you charge for emergency service?

No. We are in the business of building relationships with our clients, not being opportunistic when they need us most.

Will I have the same engineer each visit?

A primary engineer is assigned to every Simply OnSchedule, OnTrack or OnDemand account. This helps us support you more efficiently as it greatly reduces a steep learning curve. In the event that your primary engineer is not available during an emergency, you may choose to have a secondary engineer visit your site. The SiteGuide documentation we provide and update with each visit will ensure that we are up-to-speed with your site in no time.

Do you charge for travel time?

We do not charge for travel time or mileage within our service area. If a project is outside of the Twin Cities and surrounding suburbs, travel expenses and fees will always be arranged and agreed on before the engagement.

Do you fix home computers?

Yes. We have clients that need to support traveling users, home office executives, or home based businesses. Our rate structure for home offices/desktops is fixed per visit/job/project.

How can I deal with transitioning my existing provider?

Whether you are considering replacing or augmenting your current in-house team or vendor, BDITS can assist you in developing and executing a transition strategy that will focus on immediate security, execution, systems continuity and forward progress.
